Winner's Spotlight - Boglárka Nagy

Boglárka Nagy has earned both the Gold Prize and the Captivating Expression Special Prize in the Youth (11–13) category of the 2025 Season 1 World Artistry Music Award—what an incredible accomplishment! 🎶


Biography:

Boglárka Nagy sings in the Hungarian Radio Children's Choir, has been playing the flute for 3 years and the piano for two years.

She has excellent academic results since the first grade. She loves playing the flute and wants to become a lawyer at the Elte.

This is currently her big dream and plan.

She has achieved outstanding results in both domestic and international flute competitions.


  • Szentendre regional flute competition: 3rd place. (Nyitnikék flute festival)

  • Budapest metropolitan flute competition: 1st place

  • Serbia, Szabadka: 2nd place

  • Budapest regional (flutists from all Budapest music schools): 1st place

  • Kaposvár national music competition: special prize ZETA (music teachers' association)

  • 10th International Moscow Music Competition: 2nd place.

  • 9th SWISS International Music Competition: 1st place

  • 3rd Kyoto International Music competition. 1st place

  • Bach International Music Competition (United Kingdom): 2nd place

  • World Grand Prix International Music Competition: Platinum.

  • 9.th Rome Music Competition 2nd place

  • World Artistry Music Award Gold prize


Her flute performance and playing were broadcast on a recording at the Hungarian Television Headquarters and on Bartók Radio.

At Pentecost, she was able to play in front of thousands of people at the Budapest Vigadó concert of the Hungarian Radio Children's Choir, as a flute performer.

In 2024, she also gave a concert at the Hungarian Music Hall in Budapest, as the winner of the national flute competition and representing the Budapest Kodály Music School.

On December 1, she was asked to perform the flute again at the Hungarian Radio Children's Choir's Christmas concert at the Budapest Vigadó.

She was able to perform in front of hundreds of people.


In addition, Boglárka has been preparing for flute competitions by undertaking community service since the age of 11.

In order to practice and get used to the audience, she decided to go back to the former kindergarten on Fillér Street.

There, she plays music and flute for the little children.

She does this voluntary, helpful work with pleasure and joy.

In 2024, she received a special award at the international competition "Do Good, Be a Role Model" for volunteering and returning to kindergarten to play music for the little ones at the age of 12. She tries to instill a love of music, musical instruments, and primary school education in preschool children, setting an example for her peers of similar age.
