Leonardo Coral, a Mexican composer and grand prize winner of the Francesca Lebrun International Music Competition 2025 Season 4, received the top honor for his composition “Katharsis: Concerto for Violin No. 2.” He shares his gratitude in a heartfelt reflection:

"I am Leonardo Coral, composer from Mexico. I am very happy to be one of the Grand Prize Winners in Francesca Lebrun International Music Competition 2025 Season 4. My winning work was Katharsis Concierto para Violín No.2. (violin and strings).The piece was composed in homage to José Clemente Orozco, the great Mexican muralist. Violin: Nana Babayeva. State of Mexico Symphony Orchestra, guest conductor: Luis Manuel García. Principal conductor: Rodrigo Macías."
