🎉 Composer Papatya Biter from Turkey was awarded the First Prize for her composition “Step by Step” and the Second Prize for her composition “Amor del Bosforo” at the 2025 Season 3 Vivaldi International Music Competition. Congratulations!
Reflecting on her achievement, Papatya shares:
"Hello, I'm Papatya Biter. I'm 18 years old and I'm from Turkey. My musical journey began at a very young age when I started taking piano lessons and composing my own pieces. Currently, I'm studying classical piano at Sophia National Musical Academy. I have won several international awards for my solo piano performances and my classical style compositions. And now inspired by the rhythm and energy of Istanbul, I have composed three-piece series called Istanbul Vibes. With Istanbul Vibes 1 step by step, I have won the first prize. And with Istanbul Vibes 3 Amor del Bosforo, I have won the second prize at International Vivaldi Music Competition. Heartfelt thanks to the jury members, committee and everyone who have made this wonderful experience possible."
