The results of Global Genius Music Competition - 2023 Autumn Season have been published.

In this highly anticipated music event, talented participants from 25 countries came together, showcasing their performances through submitted videos, creating a breathtaking musical extravaganza for the world to witness. After intense competition, the winners of this year's competition have finally been announced.


Lenka Titzová, a percussionist hailing from the Czech Republic, shone brightly with her extraordinary talents and passionate performance, ultimately winning the Grand Prix Award and taking the top honour. Lenka's Biography: Lenka Titzová is a young percussionist from the Czech Republic. She studied percussion instruments at the conservatory in Brno in the class of Vladimír Třebický and Ctibor Bártek. She also studies at the Janáček Academy of Musical Arts in the class of Professor Martin Opršál, also in Brno. In music, she is mainly interested in contemporary music, classical music, but also works in several bands. She won a competition to play with the symphony orchestra on the Brno Conservatory with the composition 'Concerto for Marimba and Orchestra' by Kevin Beavers. She also performed this piece at the Smetanova Litomyšl International Festival. She also won Fanny Mendelssohn International Competition with this recording.


YiCheng Tang from China won the Season Top 1 Award from being awarded the most genius points in this season.Yicheng's Biography: A young cellist currently residing in Shanghai, China. From his years of music experience, Yicheng enjoys playing and experimenting with a broad spectrum of music genres and techniques on his cello. He has excelled in numerous music competitions. Here are some of his notable awards and qualifications: Global Genius Music Competition Gold Award London Young Musician: Seasonal Champion and Gold Award in U15 Division Hummingbird Music Award, National First Prize (invited to perform at the German consulate in Shanghai) Shanghai International Music Festival, National First Prize International Cello Competition, Second Place ARSM Diploma, Distinction Beyond his individual achievements, Yicheng is profoundly passionate about ensemble music. His tenure with the esteemed Young Artists Orchestra program from the Boston University Tanglewood Institute has intensified his love for collaborative performances, spanning classical pieces to pioneering new compositions.


Additionally, special awards were established to recognise those who demonstrated outstanding creativity, expressive talent, poetic artistry, collaborative abilities, and technical brilliance.


This Global Genius Music Competition is not just a musical contest; it's also a cultural exchange event, where the talents and enthusiasm of participants from various nations merge to form a powerful force of music.
